Ratings watch: Wichita State-Kentucky telecast tops week

The Wichita State men’s basketball team apparently had a lot of fans in Oklahoma.

CBS’ Wichita State-Kentucky telecast on Sunday afternoon, in which the previously unbeaten Shockers were eliminated from the NCAA Tournament, topped the Oklahoma City TV ratings for the week with a 9.8 on KWTV-9.

In other NCAA games, OU’s loss to North Dakota State got an 8.7 on truTV, and OSU’s loss to Gonzaga a 7.3 on TNT.

The Thunder’s highest quarter-hour ratings were turned in late in the double-overtime victory over Toronto on Friday night, including a 12.5 and 12.1.
