Fayetteville, Ark.-based Rausch Coleman Homes said its Oklahoma City division saw a 71-percent increase in new-home sales last year, landing near the top of the company’s divisional rankings.
With 231 new-home sales from its nine Oklahoma City-area additions, the local Rausch Coleman division came in third among the company’s divisions in Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas and Missouri.
Leading the way last year was Rausch Coleman’s Canyon Creek neighborhood in Oklahoma City with 42 home sales worth $7.4 million. That was followed by Bryant Place, where 35 homes were sold for a total of $5.4 million.
Rausch Coleman said the sales surge has continued into this year, with more than 120 homes sold so far, putting the Oklahoma City division on track to sell more than 300 homes by Dec. 31, another 26-percent increase.
