So the kiddos are back in school and Christmas is still three months away…time to gear up for Labor Day! Not the vacationing, but the shopping! Dealnews released its Labor Day sales predictions on Tuesday, and it’s good news for anyone in the market for a barbecue grill or a new mattress.

Here’s a quick summary of what to look for. Visit this link for the whole story.

Prices on back to school supplies, including laptops, will be low during the first part of September.

Stock up on summer clothing, including shorts and Ts, but avoid buying fall clothes, which will be at a premium.

Buy patio furniture and grills, and use them while it’s still warm outside.

Labor Day may be the best time all year to purchase a mattress.
