Andrew Stevens Jr. of HSEarchitects in Oklahoma City was recently awarded second place in the international student competition. “The Architecture & Engineering of Sustainable Buildings,” held by the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture.
Stevens competed against upper-level students from other architecture and engineering schools. He entered the competition as a University of Oklahoma master's degree student, under the direction of faculty sponsor Professor Lee Fithian.
Circle JH Trucking donates to fair
CHEYENNE — Circle JH Trucking of Erick accepted Clift Land Auctions' usual challenge at a recent auction at the Roger Mills County Ag Pavilion in Cheyenne. The auction company, based in Amarillo, Texas, starts auctions with special bidding to solicit a donation for a local organization that benefits community youth. Circle JH Trucking responded with a donation bid of $130, matched by Clift Land Auctions. The Roger Mills County Free Fair Board received the combined $260 donation.
