Real people: Dad says Rams QB Sam Bradford 'like any other normal kid'

Sam Bradford, who won the Heisman during his time as a Sooner, is still pretty normal, according to his dad. And Kent Bradford says his fame hasn't turned him into a big spender.

Sam Bradford is kind of a big deal in Oklahoma and St. Louis.

A record-setting passer for OU. Heisman Trophy winner. The No. 1 overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. Quarterback of the future for the Rams.

He's a very popular guy with a hefty bank account. Yet Kent Bradford says his 24-year-old son is “like any other normal kid.”

Dad shares a few other current short facts about Slingin' Sam:

“I don't think Sam cooks much. ... He is halfway tight with his money. If he has one vice, it would probably be clothes. ... He's so busy with things that I help pay bills, handle his accounts, taxes and things like that. ... The condo up there (in St. Louis) sold, and I'm going up there to help him move.”
