Recent earthquakes not tied to human activities

I've read numerous news articles and website postings that try to link oil well drilling with the frequent, small earthquakes that central Oklahoma experiences. There may be a bit more to the picture here. Those quakes were the result of the release of energy caused by tectonic movements of the earth's crust.
