Homemade Instant Cocoa

2¼ cups powdered milk

1¾ cups powdered sugar

1 cup Dutch cocoa

2 teaspoons cornstarch

1 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

5 to 6 cups hot water, milk or a combination of the two

• Toss all dry ingredients in a resealable plastic bag and shake until well-combined.

• Heat a small pot or medium saucepan over medium heat until steaming, removing before it boils.

• Spoon enough mixture into cups to fill halfway. Add heated liquid to cups and stir until combined.

• Seal remainder in the bag and store until the urge for cocoa hits again.
