Recount asked in Blaine County sheriff's race
WATONGA — Blaine County Sheriff Ricky Ainsworth, who lost by one vote in Tuesday's primary election, has asked for a recount.
Ainsworth filed the $600 fee, and a recount is set for 1 p.m. Tuesday, said Jane Crawford , the county's election board secretary.
Unofficial results showed challenger Tony Almaguer defeating Ainsworth, 451 to 450, in the Republican primary.
