Moore

The state Emergency Management Department, Federal Emergency Management Agency and U.S. Small Business Administration are operating the centers, along with those that opened earlier in Midwest City and Ratliff City.

Disaster recovery centers that opened June 29 in Blanchard and Wellston closed Friday.

State and federal disaster experts will be available to provide housing support, insurance information, public health information and vehicle assistance. Small Business Administration representatives provide one- on-one assistance with applications for low-interest disaster loans to homeowners, renters and businesses for losses not fully covered by insurance or other compensation.

Carter, Cleveland, Grady, Lincoln, McClain, Murray, Oklahoma, Payne and Stephens counties are included in the June 19 presidential disaster declaration that authorized assistance to residents affected by the wildfires.

Before visiting a disaster recovery center, homeowners, renters and business owners affected by the wildfires should register by calling FEMA at 800-621-3362 or (TTY) 800-462-7585, or going to disasterassistance.gov.
