Last week, four-star athlete Jaydon Mickens of Dorsey High School in Los Angeles said that Oklahoma State was the leader in his recruiting race.
By Tuesday night, that had changed, as Mickens chose Washington over the Cowboys and will sign with the Huskies on Wednesday.
Mickens, a 5-foot-8, 170-pound prospect who Rivals rates the No. 11 athlete in the nation, visited OSU in January after the Cowboys first contacted him following the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl. He received an in-home visit from coach Mike Gundy last week.
Mickens, who was widely considered to be OSU's top remaining recruiting target, first committed to USC during his junior season.
