Edmond Memorial defensive tackle Connor Myers made the rounds in the last month, visiting three different campuses in three weekends.

He's decided to orally commit to Weber State (Utah), said his father, Scott Myers, in an e-mail Friday morning.

Myers, 6-feet and 287 pounds, was a first-team selection for Big All-City by The Oklahoman.

Myers visited Florida Atlantic and Air Force in the last month.

It doesn't hurt that former Memorial players David James and Anthony Morales are at Weber State, located in Ogden, Utah. Edmond Santa Fe alums Willie Okwuonu, Alex Land and Trevor Pletcher are at Weber State. Del City wide receiver Marquis Walters has also orally committed to the Wildcats.

COWBOYS HOST JUNIOR DAY

Oklahoma State will host its Junior Day today. Several top in-state prospects are expected to attend.

Yukon quarterback Corben Jones, Stillwater quarterback Jerame Littell, Heritage Hall receiver Sterling Shepard and Purcell athlete Cole Swayze are among the Class of 2012 recruits who plan to attend, according to GoPokes.com.
