No OU for Graves
Tulsa East Central defensive lineman Pearlie Graves apparently no longer holds a scholarship offer to Oklahoma, according to the recruiting Web site Rivals.com. Graves, a four-star recruit, had been planning to take an official visit to OU this weekend.

Instead, Graves will probably end up signing with Michigan, with whom he’s been committed since November.

Weber State attracts local talent
At least six state high school players are committed to sign with Weber State, a Football Championship Subdivision (formerly I-AA) school in Ogden, Utah.

The connection to Oklahoma is Weber State assistant Kamaal Ahmad, an Edmond Santa Fe graduate who also played at NEO.

Edmond Memorial’s Anthony Morales is one of the Oklahomans committed to play at Weber.

Morales took an official visit there a couple weeks ago.

"I love it,” Morales said. "Utah was great and (Weber State is) always in the playoffs.”

Other state players who have said they would sign with Weber State include Putnam North’s Josh Booker, Robbie Diamond of Putnam City, Trevor Pletcher of Edmond Santa Fe, Millwood’s Cameron Sanders and Edmond Santa Fe’s Willie Okwuonu.
