Sanchez visited Norman over the weekend after visiting Baylor — where he had been committed since July — a week before.
Sanchez is likely to be a cornerback to start at OU but has also seen significant time at safety.
The Sooners have made a strong effort at bringing defensive backs in after the recent decommitments of Mesquite, Texas, cornerback De'Vante Harris and Wagoner's Kevin Peterson. Harris switched to Texas A&M, while Peterson changed to Oklahoma State.
Sanchez joins Everett as the only committed defensive backs in OU's class, although Daniel Brooks and Derrick Woods could possibly wind up on the defensive side.
The Sooners are still making a push for defensive backs, with St. Petersburg (Fla.) Gibbs' Gary Simon set to announce on signing day and Scottsdale (Ariz.) Chaparral receiver/defensive back Davonte Neal making his decision after signing day.
Sanchez gives the Sooners two commits from the four weekend visitors, joining College of the Canyons offensive lineman Will Latu, who committed Saturday.
Edmond Santa Fe defensive end Michael Onuoha and junior college wide receiver Courtney Gardner were the other two visitors.
Onuoha will decide between OU and Missouri and could make an announcement before signing day. Gardner, although still committed to Arkansas, has said he would wait until Wednesday before making his choice between the Sooners and Razorbacks official.
