Graphic design instructor Trisha Marlow said her students pitched their movie poster designs to a panel of graphic designers at an open house event in January. The judges provided feedback while also selecting the posters that were then presented to the student directors for the film projects.

Students from the Academy of Contemporary Music at the University of Central Oklahoma provided original scores and sound design for the movies.

Chris Freihofer with Freihofer Casting worked with the digital video production students to help them learn the casting process. Freihofer Casting held an open casting call to find local talent for the movies.

In addition to the feature films, the festival will showcase shorts based on four provided titles, which were produced by first-year digital video production students.

Film festival tickets are $7 and must be purchased in advance because of limited seating. Tickets can be purchased with cash or check at the Moore Norman Technology Center's Franklin Road campus or by calling 364-5763, ext. 4120.
