Red Raider players and coaches began jumping in celebration.
"Obviously, the game meant a lot to them," said OU guard Brian Simmons.
Who could blame the Red Raiders?
A year after "Jump Around" ignited the Sooners to a 65-21 rout of Texas Tech in an Owen Field showdown, the Red Raiders returned the licking with a 41-13 victory.
"It felt good to be on the other side of the ball," said Tech defensive end Brandon Sharpe. "It was fun at the end of the game."
"Jump Around" was played a couple more times in the fourth quarter. The hip-hop song is a Jones Stadium staple. In fact, a week ago, when Oklahoma State played "Jump Around" at the beginning of the third quarter, the Red Raiders spontaneously erupted with jumping.
But the jumps Saturday were extra special.
"I think we kind of played (it) a little early," Sharpe said. "But it was pretty nice at the end of the game to jump around, too."
