RedHawks' Cruz slugs three homers, breaks team record

RedHawks right fielder Nelson Cruz could find his way around the base paths at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark blindfolded at this point in the season.

Cruz hit his 28th, 29th and 30th home runs of the season in Oklahoma 's 9-5 win over Memphis on Saturday night. He broke Scott Sheldon 's single-season record of 29 homers during the 1998 season. Cruz hit his 27th home run Friday night against the Redbirds.
