RedHawks limited to four hits in loss to Salt Lake

Five Salt Lake pitchers combined on a four-hit shutout as the Bees defeated the Oklahoma City RedHawks 4-0 before a crowd of 3,927 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark on Tuesday night.

Jeremy Berg (2-2) threw 22/3 scoreless innings with five strikeouts to pick up the win. Roberto Lopez had a two-run double, and John Hester homered for the Bees.

Gregorio Petit had two of OKC’s four hits. RedHawks starter Bobby Doran (1-4) took the loss, allowing five hits and two runs in six ininngs of work.

The four-game series continues at 11:05 a.m. Wednesday. RedHawks left-hander Brett Oberholtzer (1-2, 5.00 ERA) will oppose Salt Lake lefty Justin Thomas (3-6, 5.90 ERA).
