RedHawks 3, Portland 2
The RedHawks swept Portland and stretched their winning streak to four games, a season-high.

AT THE PLATE
RedHawks leadoff man Julio Borbon was 3-for-4, and Joaquin Arias and Brandon Boggs were each 2-for-4. Borbon and Arias opened the game with back-to-back doubles, then both scored on an Esteban German single.

Arias drove him the winning run in the second, after Royce Huffman walked.

ON THE MOUND
Four RedHawks pitchers — Luis Mendoza, Bryan Corey, A.J. Murray and Warner Madrigal — combined for a five-hit win.

IN THE FIELD
Portland turned a triple play in the third inning. With runners on first and second, Jose Vallejo lined to second baseman Matt Antonelli, who tossed to covering shortstop Craig Stansberry, who completed the F4-6-3 play with a relay to first baseman Chad Huffman.

TRANSACTIONS
Second baseman German Duran was put on the disabled list. He suffered a rib injury in Thursday night’s game.

TONGHT AT THE BRICK
Tacoma (RH Gaby Hernandez, 2-2, 5.65) at Oklahoma City (RH Josh Rupe, no record). Rupe was assigned to the RedHawks on Thursday, after being in extended spring training. He led all major league relievers in innings pitched last year with Texas.
