SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Homer Bailey of the Cincinnati Reds is pitching a no-hitter through six innings against the San Francisco Giants.
Bailey has thrown no-hitters in each of the last two seasons. He did it last July 2 against the Giants.
Bailey walked Gregor Blanco leading off the fourth inning Sunday, then later threw him out at third base on a steal attempt. He has struck out four and thrown 62 pitches.
The Reds lead 1-0.
