Reduxion Theatre's 'Hamlet' is powerful, poignant

A starkly streamlined, but powerful and poignant version of “Hamlet,” performed by only seven actors, on a bare wooden stage, with few props, was offered Thursday by the Reduxion Theatre Company .

Set in war-threatened Denmark in 1938, with appealing period costumes by Jessa-Raye Court, Reduxion’s take on William Shakespeare ’s play was staged at The Broadway Theater, 1613 N Broadway.
