“Obviously this time of the year there's always going to speculation about those types of things,” Presti said. “We didn't know if he'd be on the board at the time of the draft. There's no way to predict that when you're at (No.) 24. We're comfortable with the information we had at our disposal and we made a decision. It's our job to follow guys all year.”

As for the injury, Presti said, “He had a (knee) procedure that a lot of our players have had in the past and it's something that we understood, we're comfortable with. I think he'll be fine in due time. We expect him to be healthy. We're comfortable with the information that we have.”
