NEW YORK — Alex Salamone remembers playing in the yard with his father, John, before the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks changed his world, and the nation's.
Broker John Patrick Salamone went to work at the World Trade Center seven years ago and never came home.
"He was strong. He was funny. He always made me laugh,” said Alex Salamone, 13. "I wish I could remember more, but we were so young when he died.”
