Released by judge, Oklahoma convict is accused of fatally shooting drug dealer
Two months after being let out of prison early, a convicted thief robbed and fatally shot an Oklahoma City drug dealer during a home invasion, authorities allege.
The judge who approved the release acknowledged Monday to making a mistake.
“You try to give these kids a chance, but I erred on this — big time,” Oklahoma County District Judge Kenneth Watson told The Oklahoman .
