Religion and 'civil discourse' will be focus of forums

The Oklahoma Center for Community and Justice will present a series of three forums focusing on religion, beginning on Sunday, Feb. 2, in Tulsa.

— The Oklahoma Center for Community and Justice will present a series of three forums focusing on religion.

Theme of the center's Trialogue 2014 is “The Challenge of Civil Discourse: Religious Passion, Extremism and the Problem of Perception.”

Each of the free sessions will be from 2 to 4 p.m.

The first forum will be Sunday at Peace Academy, 4620 S Irvington. The second is set for Feb. 9 at Boston Avenue United Methodist Church, 1301 S Boston.

The third event will be Feb. 16 at Congregation B'nai Emunah, 1719 S Owasso Ave.
