Edmond Pastor brings biblical characters to life in series

Bible characters will come alive when Dick Stenbakken brings his storytelling skills to Edmond for “Faces Around The Cross,” a series of dramatic presentations at 7 p.m. Friday through April 27 at the Edmond Seventh-day Adventist Church, 13812 Scott St.

In his first-person narratives, Bible characters in costume tell their stories. Each account has been painstakingly researched to bring to life the stories that make the Bible such a powerful book.

Stenbakken has served as a Wyoming pastor and then served 24 years in the Army Chaplains Service, including combat duty in Vietnam.
