Singing event is planned

The Del City Gospel Singing will be at 7 p.m. Saturday at Del City First Church of the Nazarene, 4701 SE 26.

Special singers this month will be The Williamsons and Master's Touch.

There is no admission charge but a freewill offering will be taken.

Pastor's anniversary highlighted

Prospect Church will continue celebrating the 25th pastoral anniversary of the Rev. Lee Cooper Jr. with services set for 8 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the church, 2809 N Missouri.

A banquet was held Friday to kick off the celebration for Cooper, the church's senior pastor.

The Rev. Todd M. Wheelock from the Antioch Baptist Church in Oakland, Calif., will be guest speaker at both Sunday celebration services.

Benny Hinn to visit city church

Templo de Alabanza will host the Rev. Benny Hinn for a miracle service at 6 p.m. Wednesday at 301 SW 25.

Benny Hinn is a household name among many Christians worldwide. His daily TV series “This is Your Day”' is televised in 200 countries by numerous networks. He will be in Oklahoma City for a night of healing and teaching.

Mime event is planned

Jesus Puppet Productions presents “It's Your Time To Shine: Walk Into Your Season,” the fifth Annual Mime Explosion at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Wildewood Christian Church, 6901 N Kelley Ave.

Guests include Solid Connection Mime Ministry of Ft. Worth, Texas; Little Jesus Puppet; God's Angels; Ghost of Lawton; soloist Horace Weaver; and poet Janelle Robinson.
