A “Men in Praise Musical” will be at 6 p.m. Oct. 13 at Wildewood Baptist Church, 60 NE 63. The men's chorus is under the director of D. Wayne Lee, Wildewood's minister of music. Admission is free and open to the public.

Music minister will be honored

Jim Henline will be honored for his 40 years of work in music ministry on Sunday at Putnam City Christian Church, 4215 N Grove Ave. According to a news release, Henline began as music director at the church in October 1972. Henline also has appeared in productions at Jewel Box, Lyric Theatre and more.

Interfaith group sets meeting

The Interfaith Alliance Foundation of Oklahoma will hold its annual meeting and awards banquet Oct. 18 at The Centre, 4325 NW 50. Registration begins at 6 p.m. A business meeting will be at 6:25 p.m., followed by a meal at 7 p.m. The keynote speaker is the Rev. Welton Gaddy, national president of the Interfaith Alliance. His topic will be, “Let Me Tell You Who to Vote For”. The event will end with an awards ceremony. The Community Service Award will be presented to the Rev. Jeff Hamilton, and the Harley Venter's Humanitarian Award will go to Larry and Masie Bross. The dinner is open to the public.
