Handbell concert scheduled

The music ministry of St. Paul's Lutheran Church will present “A Spring Ring,” a concert of handbell music, at 4 p.m. Sunday at 10600 N Council Road.

The concert features three handbell choirs showcasing the talents of adult, high school and middle school youth musicians.

A guest ringer from Southern Hills Baptist Church will accompany on several pieces.

The concert is free. An offering will be taken to benefit a church scholarship fund.

Chorale set to perform in Norman

— The University Chorale, one of Oklahoma Baptist University's premiere vocal ensembles, will sing at First Baptist Church of Norman, 211 W Comanche, at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

The performance is free and open to the public. It is under the direction of Brent Ballweg, Ph.D., who is Burton H. Patterson professor of music and director of choral activities at OBU.
