The board will meet at 7 p.m. at the Administrative Services Center and Curriculum Center, 131 S Flood Ave.

The state Education Department requires that school districts adopt a plan to help seventh- and eighth-graders who do not score well on state proficiency exams in math and reading. The Achieving Classroom Excellence Remediation Plan is designed to prepare students for college or the world of work.

Also on the agenda is recognition of Norman High School North being named a Blue Ribbon school this year.
