Remembering Farrah Fawcett in Oklahoma

She was a well-rounded, unpretentious woman who loved horses, fitness and friends. Farrah Fawcett , the 1970s symbol of vibrant living who in recent years became a symbol of the struggle to live, was a friendly "all-American girl,” Oklahomans and others who knew her said.

Fawcett died Thursday in Santa Monica , Calif. , after a long battle with cancer. She was 62.
