Remote patrol: FSN crew heaps praise on Sooners, looks ahead to Notre Dame game
Oklahoma's 52-7 rout of Kansas allowed FSN's broadcast crew to take a light-hearted approach in the second half as sideline reporter Jim Knox even got a ride on the Sooner Schooner after the Sooners' final touchdown in the third quarter.

“After this game they are going to have to rotate the wagon wheels,” Knox said as he took a spin around the field. “Giddy up!”
Play-by-play announcer Joel Meyers and analyst Brian Baldinger also had lots of time to compliment the Sooners.
Noting that CBS analyst Spencer Tillman, a former OU running back, had called OU the best one-loss team in the country, Baldinger agreed. “Notre Dame is here next week. I think they (the Sooners) may have a legitimate claim to being the best one-loss team.”
Baldinger said OU's speed would test the Irish defense in the much-anticipated game.
“This will be their best test,” Baldinger said. “This by far will be the most speed that they have to defend all year and the atmosphere will be electric.”
Knox noted that tickets range from $400 to $4,000 for the game, which will be nationally televised on ABC.
* After Justin Brown returned a punt 90 yards for a touchdown, Baldinger noted that Brown had shown speed similar to Damien Williams on his 95-yard TD run against Texas. “Oklahoma is a dangerous team because they can score from anywhere on the field with that type of speed.”
* Landry Jones left the game late in the third quarter with solid stats – 18 of 29 for 291 yards and 3 touchdowns. Baldinger said, “I thought he was terrific. He kept control of the football and got the deep throws.”
* After a 45-yard fumble return by Casey Walker, a 6-foot-2, 310-pound defensive tackle, Baldinger quipped, “He's glad he ran the extra wind sprints last week to get that far down the field.” Knox added, “Get him oxygen. He needs oxygen right now.”
