Remote patrol: TNT crew shows love for Thunder

In its first appearance ever on TNT, the Oklahoma City Thunder drew good reviews from the network’s broadcasters Tuesday night in the playoff game against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Game analyst Doug Collins said, "This Oklahoma City team may be young, but they are not immature. They are handling the pressure very well.”

At halftime, studio analyst Charles Barkley said, "Oklahoma City is so competitive. They got beat in the first quarter of the first game, but they have outplayed the Lakers in every other quarter.”

Using his normal salty language, Barkley noted the Thunder will be a team to contend with in the future. "Oklahoma City and the Chicago Bulls, you got to get their (rears) right now. … They are going to be the bullies on the block.”

At the end of the game, Barkley apologized for calling his network colleagues a curse word while answering a question from two female viewers on whether he preferred blonds or brunettes...

→ FSOK sideline reporter Kevin Werme interviewed TNT play-by-play announcer Kevin Harlan in the pregame show. "I would not be surprised at all if you guys come out with the win,” Harlan said of the Thunder.
