Rep. Jim Bridenstine: Obama Spends More on Climate Change than Weather Research

In a speech on the House floor Tuesday, Rep. Jim Bridenstine, R-Tulsa, accused President Barack Obama of a “gross misallocation” of funds, saying the administration spends 30 times more on climate change research than on weather research.
Bridenstine, a freshman, did not give specifics about the funding or say how the administration was able to bypass Congress in setting those priorities given Congress’ authority over spending.
