Rep. Lankford, R-OKC, assigned to budget, transportation, oversight committees

Incoming congressman from OKC lands all three panels that he requested.

WASHINGTON — U.S. Rep.-elect James Lankford on Thursday landed all three of the committee assignments he requested, securing seats on the panels that craft a budget, set transportation policy and oversee government operations.
