Report: Bobby Petrino to replace Charlie Strong at Louisville Published: January 8, 2014

With Charlie Strong now in Texas, Louisville looks to be reaching back into its past.

Western Kentucky head coach Bobby Petrino is expected to be named as Strong's successor Thursday, as reported by Yahoo! Sports' Pate Forde. It will be Petrino's second stint in Louisville, as he guided the Cardinals to a 41-9 record from 2003-06 before leaving for the Arkansas job.
