Report: Prime Prep Academy shut down by Texas state officials Published: July 15, 2014

KDFW-FOX 4 reports that the State of Texas has moved to revoke the charter of Uplift Fort Worth, the parent company of Prime Prep Academy.

The move effectively shuts down the Prime Prep campuses in Fort Worth and Dallas. Prime Prep’s co-founder was NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders.

Prime Prep has played games against Oklahoma high schools in 2012 (Millwood) and 2013 (Ardmore, Oklahoma City Legion). See this story on
