Report: Grizzlies coach Dave Joerger to interview for Wolves job Published: May 21, 2014

The Memphis Grizzlies were a few possessions away from beating the Thunder in the first round. Now it looks like the Grizzlies may be completely retooling their front office and coaching staff.

The Minnesota Star Tribune reports that Memphis coach Dave Joerger has been granted permission to interview with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Joerger would be the latest departure from a franchise that announced it was parting ways with CEO Jason Levien and assistant general manager Stu Lash on Monday.

The Grizzlies are just a year removed from hiring Joerger, who replaced Lionel Hollins as coach after Hollins led Memphis to the Western Conference Finals in 2012-13.
