The New York Times reports that NBC has “quietly” been building Jimmy Fallon a new studio in 30 Rockefeller Center in Manhattan for his expected move to “The Tonight Show.”

The network has not completed a deal with Fallon yet, but his assent is considered mostly a formality, since the move would represent a significant step up for him, according to the Times.

One senior executive who has been involved in the discussion told the Times Wednesday that “there is no way on earth that this is not going to happen.”
