Report: Kelvin Sampson a leading candidate for University of Houston job

Houston Rockets assistant coach and former University of Oklahoma coach Kelvin Sampson has emerged as a leading candidate to become the head coach at the University of Houston, multiple sources told Yahoo Sports.



Sampson, who last coached college ball at Indiana in 2008, would replace James Dickey, who stepped down as Houston coach on Monday.
