Report: 'Kotter' actor Ron Palillo dead at 63

Ron Palillo, who played the beloved character Arnold Dingfelder Horshack on "Welcome Back Kotter," died suddenly Tuesday, according to the Palm Beach Post.

The actor, who was the fourth and oldest "sweathog" in Gabe Kaplan’s hit 1970s comedy series, died early Tuesday in his home in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., reported the newspaper website.

The sudden death of the 63-year-old was reported by his friend Stacy Sacco, according to the website. Sacco told that no cause of death had been determined yet but that the former actor had not been ill or in the hospital.
