Multiple league sources have reportedly told ESPNLosAngeles.com the Thunder considers it a "long shot" to acquire Pau Gasol.
Initial reports came out last week that the Thunder was seriously courting Gasol, an unrestricted free agent. Then, news surfaced that Scott Brooks and Gasol met face-to-face Monday.
For Gasol, many of his questions are reportedly about life in Oklahoma City. From ESPN:
"During Gasol's meeting with Brooks, according to a league source, the 13-year veteran peppered Brooks with questions about the quality of life in Oklahoma City and wondered aloud about leaving a culturally diverse city like Los Angeles for middle America."
Our Anthony Slater brings up an interesting question, seeing as how Gasol spent the first half of his career in a smaller market.
UPDATE: Yahoo Sports reported earlier in the afternoon that the Thunder and Chicago Bulls lead the way for Gasol.
