Last week, the Derek Fisher-to-New York rumors started percolating.
They continued Monday, with Fisher's name being thrown in along with Steve Kerr's for the New York Knicks job next season. SI.com's Rob Mahoney argues that no one may be more in the Knicks' wheelhouse than Kerr and Fisher - former Phil Jackson players who could ease the transition to Jackson's favored Triangle offense.
USA Today NBA Insider Jeff Zillgitt backs what his colleague Sam Amick said last week about Fisher. From Zillgitt:
"If Kerr doesn't end up as coach: Derek Fisher, who could end up with the Knicks either as a coach or front-office executive." See this story on nba.si.com
