Report: Tim Duncan opts in for $10.3M, returns to Spurs Published: June 23, 2014

Tim Duncan wants a sixth ring.

Yahoo Sports is reporting that Duncan is opting into the final year of his contract with the San Antonio Spurs. The future Hall of Famer is set to make $10.3 million in the last year of his three-year, $30.36 million deal, and will become an unrestricted free agent in 2015.

Duncan, 38, is coming off his fifth NBA championship since being drafted by the San Antonio Spurs with the No. 1 overall pick in 1997.
