Reporter fired after filing report on flood while sitting on shoulders of victim Published: June 27, 2013

A veteran TV reporter was fired after filing a report from the scene of a major flood while sitting on the shoulders of a victim to reportedly avoid getting his clothes wet, according to News Express.

The site reports the station released a statement, calling the journalist's reporting of the Uttarakhand flood inhuman and against the culture of the station's esteemed organization.

"News Express Channel did not broadcast this video of Mr. Narayan Pargaien, but it was uploaded by someone we don't know..."
