— Residents were asked Thursday to voluntarily stop outdoor watering and limit their indoor water use after two of the city's wells failed.

The electrical computer system failed in one well and the pump failed in the other well, Public Works Director Ivan Clark said.

“It was kind of a fluke thing,” Clark said. “We have not run out of water and we have our reserves.”
