Sushi Bar owner Jameson Han said he did not have a firm time line for construction to begin on the second location. With the area’s high traffic and numerous new restaurants, it made sense to consider Memorial Road for a second location, Han said.

“It’s really becoming like a destination spot in Oklahoma City,” Han said.

The Plano, Texas,-based fast-casual chain Zoe’s Kitchen is one of several restaurants that has expanded to Oklahoma City’s Memorial Road corridor. Zoe’s Kitchen opened a new 3,100 square-foot restaurant at 14110 N Pennsylvania in July, just north of Memorial Road near Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Locally-owned Revolve Pizza Kitchen opened at 5500 W Memorial Road at the end of June.

Dallas-based entertainment chain Main Event is also building a new 58,000 square-foot location near Memorial Road and Western Avenue that will include multiple restaurants and a bar.
