Revisions are overdue

Political types like to boast that they have been "right from the beginning.” Unfortunately, our state’s constitution, in too many ways, was wrong from the beginning. To give the best illustration, upon signing the proclamation of Oklahoma ’s statehood, President Theodore Roosevelt remarked that our constitution was "not fit for publication.”
