Reward raised to $12,000 for information involving Porter arson case

— A reward has been raised to $12,000 for information concerning a May 20 arson case in Porter, the Wagoner County sheriff’s office reported.

The reward is being offered for information that will lead to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for the house fire and animal shooting. The reward was originally offered at $10,000, several days after the fire.

Wagoner County sheriff’s deputies and fire crews from Porter and Tullahassee found a house in the 22500 block of S 365th E Avenue engulfed in flames. Authorities also found two dead dogs and a dead horse with apparent gunshot wounds behind the residence.

The state fire marshal is investigating the blaze as an arson, said Wagoner County Maj. Gary Handley.
