Rewind: OU's Big 12 title history

The Sooners clinched their fifth Big 12 South title with a 27-21 win over Oklahoma State. They will play Nebraska on Saturday in Kansas City for the conference championship.

OU is 3-1 in previous Big 12 title games. A look back:

2004: OU 42, Colorado 3: A mismatch from the outset, the Sooners rolled the Buffaloes in Kansas City to remain unbeaten and on track for a national title showdown with Southern Cal in the Orange Bowl.

2003: Kansas State 35, OU 7: Ell Roberson threw four touchdown passes and Darren Sproles ran for 235 yards at Arrowhead Stadium as the Wildcats upset the No. 1 Sooners. OU still went on to play for the national title.

2002: OU 29, Colorado 7: In Houston, the Sooners rolled up 287 yards rushing and 401 total in shaking off a Bedlam loss from the previous week. The win sent OU to the Rose Bowl.

2000: OU 27, Kansas State 24: OU won its first conference title since 1987. Josh Heupel threw for 220 yards and two scores at Arrowhead and the Sooners advanced to the Orange Bowl, where they claimed the school's seventh national title.
