PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Gasoline prices in Rhode Island have fallen 2 cents from last week.

AAA Southern New England's latest price survey, released Monday, found the average cost of a gallon of self-serve regular is $3.68.

That's 2 cents lower than a month ago, and 3 cents more than the national per-gallon average of $3.65.

A year ago at this time, Rhode Islanders were paying 9 cents less on average, or $3.59 a gallon.

The AAA survey found a 21-cent range in prices, from a low of $3.61 a gallon to a high of $3.82 a gallon.
